Barnes and Noble, 9:07 pm. Sitting in the cafe. LOUD family with children arrives. Come on people, it's too freaking late for this!! I just wanted a few minutes of quiet before I go home. The adults are more loud and obnoxious than the children. Sigh. I know it's a hot night, but there is a Friendly's right up the street.

They charge for internet access here. Bastards. I'm broke. I'm so broke that for supper I had a free sample of some Kashi crunch cereal I picked up at the gym (which was pretty good by the way) and a double cheeseburger from the dollar menu at mickey-ds.

Wife is having people over tonight and I didn't feel like joining them. They are a group of women who over the years have drummed in various configurations and wife was asked to host a party at the house for someone they all know who is moving away. I'm giving them their space. So, I went to a friends house, actually my former roommate and got to spend time with Holly, the only member left of the famous "pack 'o dogs". Then I drove to Manchester and managed to get on the treadmill for 30 minutes. It helped that there was a Red Sox game on and that the Sox were kicking Yankee ass when I left. Yeah, thanks B&N, I can't even surf and check the score!! I should have gone to Panera, they have free internet access. Next time.

Loud family is gone. Yay! Nothing much new. Work, work, work, sleep, eat, work some more. Things are going good at home.

I HATE when people sit and have loud conversations on their cell phones in public. This guy just parked it in the cafe and he is talking SO loud! I mean, I can understand if it's a kid calling, or a quick call from home, whatever. But isn't it just plain RUDE to talk on the phone for an extended period of time in a public place like a restaurant or a cafe? It's insane!!

HA HA! So this guy who works here is sitting at the next table trying to eat his supper and read a book, and we looked at each other and shook our heads. So he went over and told the guy he was being loud! Score!!

I suppose there are people who would think it is rude of me to sit here typing. Free world and all that I suppose!
